yea, she's real clean. well maybe not right now, what with that oil blowing all over from the leaky canister seal. needs a pressure wash. gonna clean her up some, top off the fluids, and drive her to Rome Wi. tomorrow to visit friends for the weekend. anybody in the nearby area to Rome should...

    Pictures of the new Deuce

adding a few " going down the road" pics from my 675 mile drive to the new homefront inDe Pere, Wi. Truck ran great, no major issues, used no oil, but I did lose some from a leaky canister seal somewhere in Iowa. easu fix with the old seal I still had hanging from the ether bottle. and my new...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Why does anyone drive a 50 year old army truck across three states. answer, a pretty girl! :) I actually moved to green bay/ De pere, yes for a pretty lady, but I have friends from my gander mountain days in Baraboo who have the space to store my big green sex machine. Actually planning to drive...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I drove mine the 675 miles from Cabool Mo. to Baraboo wisconsin. fun trip, deuce ran fantastic, and only issue I had was the leaking oil canister seal that I just changed pre-trip as part of my PM

    Pictures of the new Deuce

Just thought I'd add a few more pictures of the truck, with a few volunteers from my University classes. Apparently, gravity wasn't working that day, and they " volunteered" to help hold down the truck :)

huge yard with hundreds? of mv's in Rolla Missourri

Well it's too bad the owner of the place seems to be content to let them sit and rot. Like I said, that entire property looks to be loaded with vehicles and other items that would appeal to MV collectors. A real goldmine, from the looks of it

    Good Change Coming In Wisconsin

Can't argue with the logic in that, just my kneejerk reaction to anything that smells like " IF,BUT,or MAYBE" :). Missouri L.E has always been all smiles and waves for me. Never a hint of negative attitude, how could they? I'm driving a 14,000 lbs of army green goodness! Hope it works out the...

    Who's in Wisconsin?

well, this Wisconsin move is looking up. Down here in my neck of Missouri, there's a few deuces and 5 tons that seem to just sit untended on the highway with for sale signs. but nobody nearby seems to actually take em out and drive them. Nice to see Wisconsin's a little more active in that...

    Who's in Wisconsin?

Well, with an invitation like that, who could refuse! :) I'm planning the move for 1 October and assuming the Deuce doesn't get cranky on the trip ( She's been taking it easy on me because she knows I'm new to MV's I think) I should be settled in by 7 Oct. PM me your contact info and we can keep...

    Good Change Coming In Wisconsin

I suppose that does look to be the best option, although that "occasional personal use" bit is just full of fuzzy grey Murphy potential. who gets to decide if my driving it to work 3 days a week and then to the store on saturday is more than occasional? lol. but its still one heck of alot...

    Good Change Coming In Wisconsin

So, after reading the entire thread, I'm still a bit confused. I have a 67 Kaiser M35A2 multi fuel, currently titled and registered in Missourri with 24,000# plates. I use it as a daily driver, and carry the occasional load of furniture, building supplies, MV bits, pieces, etc. I am planning a...

    Who's in Wisconsin?

This threads a few months old now, I realize, but glad to see Wisconsin Deuce owners. Particularly because I am now moving to DePere in October. Any members want to swap contact info prior to my trip?

huge yard with hundreds? of mv's in Rolla Missourri

I'm driving my deuce up again in a few weeks, and will try to post some pics from the road of all the cool goodies, but is the owner still live and kicking? does he deal? I think it extremely likely there are some gadgets and gizmo's my 67 kaiser are missing

    Pictures of the new Deuce

LOL. It is in fact. for a 74 ford camper special 460 rebuild. I ordered new pistons and wrist pins. for some reason, I got 9 pistons in the box, so the extra made a nice ashtray

huge yard with hundreds? of mv's in Rolla Missourri

Anyone ever run across the large property full of old MV's on the west end of Rolla Missouri on highway 63?. I actually stopped by the old house and knocked a few years ago with no answer, but from my admittedly limited MV knowledge I saw 211's , a duck? what looked like a goat,, jeeps...

    Pictures of the new Deuce

also, just noticed that this got posted in the tips and tricks forum, rather than the deuce forum I intended. any suggestions on how to move it?

    Pictures of the new Deuce

So I finally convinced the daughter unit to snap some photos of the Deuce I recently purchased. It's a 1967 Kaiser Jeep M35A2, with the Hercules Multi-Fuel, D- Turbo, Air lock front. I am already 1000 miles of roadtime and 800 bucks in PM into the experience, and loving every second. Next up...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I did what most Deuce owners seem to spend insane amounts of time , energy, and money doing. I worked on it. ALOT. pulled the fuel sending unit for a quick trip to the carb boilout can to de-crud it all new oil and filters all new fuel filters flushed lines drain and changed all axle diffs...
