CharlyArmy's post prompted me to look up the NMTC website. Turns out I DO know someone there! CW 4 Hall is their senior warrant officer and back in 1995 he did a stint as a recruiter and was responsible for much of my pain at Ft. Benning that summer. :)

Wow. Great posts everyone. You've given me a lot to think about. I immediately dismissed the 5 tons,but I think it might be wise to reconsider that now. Keep em coming. Love to hear anyones other recovery stories good or bad.
Well i guess I'm too green to know. I have a Class A cdl with all endorsements possible but the maintenance and costs of a 5 ton scare the crap outta me. Appreciate the responses guys!
