I think it's fixed ,was able to get N.O.S. shifter shaft from White Owl.
Keyways on shaft are 180 degrees apart.(+-.02-.03)
I think if one wanted to they could not use a key at handle end of shaft and just rely on bolt to keep handle in any position.
Thanks to all !
Jeff
Winch woes
I LIKE ALL CAPS, HOWEVER SOMETIMES WORDS LOOK MISSPELLED IN ALL CAPS. The technical drawing I would like to see and probably does not exist is one a machinest might use to make the Shifter Shaft. I have refrenced the exploded view 16-3 in TM9-2320-361-34 unfortunatly it does not show...
Winch woes
Thanks for info. I was hoping keyways were 180* opposed on shaft, that way i would know how much correction to make. Shaft is twisted to the point that the "detent end" of shaft lever hits bolt head of "detent plate" mounting bolt. Anyone have a technical drawing of the shifter shaft...
I have a 10k winch that works if one mounting bolt is removed so lever can be moved far enough. I think the shifter shaft is twisted. Does anyone recall if the two keyways on shaft are 180* apart? Mine are about 165* apart and I think they should be opposite each other(180*). While I am at it...
Speddmon,
Thanks for your reply.
I am still dealing with the Generator Set that had the problem with the Bridge Rectifier Board Resistor. I took the Generator Set and a good Rectifier Board to a local motor/electrical shop to determine resistance value of the Resistor. After a brief...
Thanks atankersdad, I was at Colemans earlier this summer getting misc. parts but they did not have any suppression parts ,did you happen to see any on your visit? Thanks, Truckfest.
I am looking for parts for a MEP003A Generator sound suppression kit. Specifically the access door for the oil fill/filter area. If anyone has a parts machine or knows a source I would greatly appreciate your help!! Thanks, TRUCKFEST
Thanks for info. This unit idled very fast (considerably faster than any unit I've dealt with in the past) So I "Fixed" that.!! As I understand your response battery voltage (24V), has nothing to do with this part of the system once Field is "flashed". Could holding the switch in the start/flash...
Have a good running MEP-003 set, have test run several hours. After a cold start and 3-4 min. warm up (idle ,no load) Bridge Rectifier Board Resistor started smoking badly:-( I am unsure how to procede other than to repair board and try again, but do not want to smoke any more parts. Any thoughts...
Thanks to all! Problem fixed, started with fuel filters .Primary fuel filter housing gasket was mostly "inside" the housing no idea how this did not leak.Changed secondary filters as well, next day still poor start! Went to checking every fitting (there was no leakage at any time) ,vent...
Having problem with m35, after sitting several hours or more ,fuel bleeds back to tank. Truck will struggle to start , running fuel pump for 15 seconds helps greatly but Truck still stumbles a while. Is there a check valve I can't find or is it in the pump?:?::?:Thanks for any thoughts:!::!:
RE: filter
Thanks to all! I do have a WIX51004 filter, it does have a flat gasket, the onan takes a "square o ring"type gasket.WIX tells me the WIXPC202 is no longer a good number and to use the51004. The NAPA1004 is made by WIX ,i do not know what type of gasket it comes with.Does anyone know...
I cannot find a new oil filter canister gasket for the Onan Diesel. Am almost to the point of having them made. Would like to find a parts manual for the MEP-003A. Any help would be greatly appreciates. First post, hope it's ok.
Thanks,
Jeff
