Thanks for the info. Mine ended up being the fuse in the fusebox.

Recently went out to start my truck and the wait to start light didn't come on and also the relay didn't click. Would the glow plug relay be the probem? Truck has always started good the past year and the wait to start light always came on. Truck turns over fine just no start.

Did the M1008 and M1009 have adjustable vacuum modulaters? If so where they adjustable by screwdriver or allen wrench. Would like to adjust mine as it shifts at 17 and 35 which I think is a little high for a M1008 with 4.56 gears.

Same here, I have my M1008 insured thru proggressive.

1981 thru 1984 have a tall adapter with 2 rubber mounts 1985 and newer have a short adapter with single rubber mount Should have posted that in your first post. LOL

Also the trans to transfercase adapter came in 2 styles a short and a tall.

How much do you want for the m1028?

After trying to insure my m1008 at my local progressive insurance agent and they denied me as it is a mv vehicle. So I proceeded browsing posts here using the search feature but not really finding anything worth while except for other states. Would like to know from other 1008 owners...

I'll be going to that one for sure.

I used to machine the 6.2 diesel pistons and we would stamp the inside of the piston to verify what operator ran the parts.

Quick question I have a 4" rancho front spring, how much block in the rear to make truck sit level a 3 or 4 inch block. Wanted tough country front springs but I couldn't resist the deal I got on these.
