Well looks like I'm not getting the m1008 someone else could be there sooner so he sold it. If anyone around southeast Iowa has one for sale let me know.

Thanks for the replies guys I'm happy to hear I can drive it home with the plow on it. I also have been reading as much as I can about the features these have different then the civilian trucks but I known I haven't even scratched the surface of all the great information that is available here yet.

I'm looking at buying my first military vehicle a 1986 m1008 with a plow on it and the drive home is 1 hour 30mins. If the cooling system is in good working order should I have any problems with over heating driving it home with the plow on the front? Weather has been in the 30s so I wasn't sure...
