    Need Some Assistance

Ok, so I need to adjust the linkage (throttle and/or trans) to get it to shift into 5th gear. Can anybody tell what is the procedure for adjusting said linkage(s)? Is there certain or specific steps that need to be followed to get the proper adjustment?

No Headlights on my '90 BMY Harsco M923A2

Yes, all other lights work, although I did have to replace 3 marker light bulbs when I first got the truck, but they all light up and function properly, just not the headlights?! No I haven't changed it. I just might try that. Thank you for the suggestion.

No Headlights on my '90 BMY Harsco M923A2

I have tried the switches in every position, but to no avail. Robert (Those Military Guys) told me to check the the wires to see if I was getting any volts through the wires with my volt meter, which there is 24v on the low and high on both the left and right. Thanks for the response. No, I...

    2 Batteries or 4 Batteries?

When I purchased my 923A2 it had 2 series 75 12v batteries that the previous owner (he thought the old batts. were 4 - 6v and that 2 - 12v would work better) had installed 3 months prior. Three months after purchase (6 months total) they were dead. Wouldn't hold a charge. Low and behold I...

I hear and feel it shifting through the five gears, but I will give it a look. Where is the cable from the injection pump to the Trans located? I know where the pump is located.

Yes to all questions. Engine gets up to 23-24 rpm at 45 mph in 5th gear, drops to 21-22 rpm at 40 mph in 4th gear. The turbo does spool up and down properly as well. Turbo does spin freely. I checked it when I had to clean the oil out of the intake and turbo cooler from air filter being...
