Well this weekend I decided to cut off the mufflers and tailpipes because they tailpipes were so out of whack and rusted with pin holes. I replaced with just glass packs for now and will be getting new tailpipes custom bent to go straight out the back,down pipes are like new.
Is this setup ok...
So finally got to try the cucv on the road...wow does this thing seem wound out but i think it is what it is. Thought trans was not shifting into 3rd but it is, when manually shifted you cant go more than like 28mph and once in drive position 55mph is it. Has reasonable good power iam used to...
Pulled front diff cover off to change fluid and my truck has the limited slip front, did m1008s come with this option or is the truck another model? Thanks
Wondering what this outlet is under the hood? The bumper has a the pronged end of this. Any help on what it does and how it works would be appreciated.
So I have determined that the gen 1 alt is actually the gen 2 alt that previous owner must have put there assuming they were the same. I really dont want to buy another alt so whats it take to make the gen 2 alt work properly in gen 1 position.
Is it just removing the insulators in side the alt...
Any thoughts as to why it seems like i have no higher speed wiper function? Does not seem like any speed increase when switched between to speeds on column.
