It was a brand new MMDC unit. Right after I installed it I had the same random read outs on the same tank gauge. It would either read normal or show a reduced pressure reading. I will try swapping the air lines to see if it shows up in the other gauge.
I had a wonky gauge reading on one of my tanks and replaced the MMDC with a new one and the gauge continues go from reading correctly to dropping to about half of what the other one is reading. Happens randomly. I'm going to add the filters. Good idea. Any idea on the cause of the same gauge...
Bought a set for my M1088A1 awhile back and they were a perfect fit. Bought another set for my M1095 A1 trailer because that has the same size sway bar. Thanks Guido!
Hoping for the cab mounts to come out soon!
That comes from 18 yr. olds working on them that have little in the way of mechanical skills. Or they want them gone and a few lines switched does the trick.
I bought the same sets a few years ago and they look pretty good until you try to install them. The fit is poor and the set screws do not hold everything together.
Papakb, I have a MSD v2 that I'm trying to get up and running. I picked up a SSHD in pata/ide but am having trouble with finding a cable to interface with the inside of the HD bay.
was wondering if you had a picture of both ends of the cable you used. Been searching ebay but no luck...
With that Purest air dryer you should see very little if any water come from the tanks. I installed a new one when I got my truck and have never seen any water in the tanks. As far as the unit being clogged, you should hear the unit purging on a regular basis and see the water spray coming out.
Must be a favorite place for them. I had mine off last month and found the same thing. Cleaned it all with the shop vac and I was lucky they didn't chew anything. Then I loaded up the cab with 4 cabin fresh pouches and no signs of them so far.
Scottmandu, you are correct about the functioning of the interaxle differential. The two axles with the interaxle differential connecting them, function together as on open differential system(axle with slippage gets the power). First look at the simple example of the middle axle having both...
The only ones that I know of that are a direct fit are the Caiman and the maxxpro. With these you will have to use extended thread lug nuts or install longer studs. The aluminum is quite thick at the holes. All other varient styles that don't work are easy to spot because they lack the radius...
