Excellent read from several posts. I am looking at doing something similar. I plan to take out the bench seats from my 1028, add buckets, fridge and large power inverter on back cab wall.

My stock mirrors on my 86 1028 cucv aren't going to work anymore. Has anyone adapted any side mirrors that remove easily when wheelin'? What have other owners used for towing mirrors? Links would be helpful. Thanks Tater
