What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Today was fix the M1028 day. It has been getting harder and harder to start. I thought it was the GP but they tested fine. Checked the GP Relay it was getting too much power. (This 1028 has had the doghead mod done to the starter and it has a manual GP to a solenoid) and it was not passing...

    M1028 Question

I have a 1984 M1028 CUCV that has been converted to a "Manual" glow plug switch. The truck is hard to start and I suspect the GP's are either bad or going there. I plan on testing them today with a ohm meter and replacing them with wellman 070's. I have 3 questions: 1. With the manual GP...

    New from NC

Hello everyone! I am a new member from NC. I live North of Raleigh by the town of Creedmore NC right by Falls Lake. I have a 1984 CUCV. It runs really good but is kind of rough on the outside. I am sure I will be on here asking all kinds of questions. Thanks in advance! Sam
