I made a post earlier about the fuel shutoff. I've been all over the stickies and talked to a few people. The info on this forum has helped me so much. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has helped me and others. With out y'all I probably wouldn't have got this disaster running!
I ended up just pulling the plunger out to verify if the rod was stuck or if the plunger was hung up. Sure enough the plunger was hung up. Luckily I got a spare junk engine sitting here. Remove the plunger out of if and got it out back in. I'm the process of putting everything else together rite...
Alright after reading the stickies and going threw the forums and blah blah blah I decided to check my fuel shutoff and start removing my HH due to no start. I got all the lines unhooked and went to start removing the fuel shut off. Took the cover off with the 2 bolts. Found that the tab was...
Well i finally got my engine installed in my truck. No fire. The guy I bought the engine from said the engine ran great when he pulled it. He pulled it after I called and put a down payment on the engine. It's an LDT465c with an LDS IP. After I got the truck all put back together I primed the...
Na! I've hauled bigger on that same truck. Wish I could find the pictures of when we hauled some monster trucks on that same wrecker before we upgraded the bed

I've been looking and searching for the past 2 days and can't find any threads of anyone actually swapping in an LDS into their M35. Anybody care to share their journey? If not I may just try and be the guinea pig
I got lucky and found a guy just a few hours from me with some good deals on complete running LDT's. He's gonna get me a list and prices. I'm thinking about having him check to see if he has and LDS's on hand. Is the LDS465-1 or LDS465-1a the preferred engines to have?
Working on getting pics up. But I think I need to get to a computer. Smart phones ain't so smart sometimes.
Just wanted to say thanks again for the add. So far I've already hitting some very good info and even talked with a few guys on the phone trying to help me out. Kinda surprised y'all...
I knew the riskes when I traded for a non running deuce. But I'm mechanically inclined so I wasn't scared. With in the first 15 minutes I found that the #1 injector tip was smashed. So I pulled the valve cover and the intake valve was broke. Pulled the head and sure enough the piston was...
Just got my first Deuce delivered today. Very excited. Has a dropped valve and a trashed piston so I'm gonna be all over this site for awhile. Any help is much appriciated. Thanks for the add
