    MEP-831a will not start.

My 2 MEP831a's arrived the other day. One is a 2005 with 30 hours on it. I blew out the fuel lines and some horrific fluid came out. I changed the fluids and filters and added fuel and fired right up. Runs fine and produces power as it should. Now for the 2nd unit. It's a 2001 with 1100 hours. I...

    MEP-803a weeping fuel

I used my hands. I was really worried about breaking one of the plastic T's. I pulled the 2 end lines first then I pulled the vertical ones up and slid the top ones off. I used the needle nose to connect the top middle one back together. It was tight under the exhaust.

    MEP-803a weeping fuel

There are 4 T connectors at the top of the motor, one for each cylinder. There are 4 vertical lines also that connect to the ones that run horizontal across the top of the motor. Those braided lines are maybe 1/2 in long. I pulled them all off. They can be fragile due to heat exposure. I just...

    MEP-803a weeping fuel

I just picked up my 803a and the return lines were leaking terribly. Past the point of weeping. Found a guy on Ebay out of MD that has 3.5mm braided yellow stripe return lines. I got 6 feet and I was fine. I did not need to replace the long piece though. The one at the top of the head to the...

    Won my first MEP-803a

So I did my load out today. Everything went fine. Iron Planet employee brought it right out to me on a fork truck and perfectly put it right on the pintle hitch. I hook up my 12 pin to 4 flat and it worked fine. I swapped out for 2 1156 bulbs and 2 #67 bulbs and they looked good. The engine...

    Won my first MEP-803a

I won a MEP-803 and I am picking it up on Thursday. Had a few questions about picking one up. Does the front tounge have a crank on it to raise and lower it or is it all muscle work? Is it well balanced that one person can lift it or do I need to bring someone to help me lift or lower it onto my...
