    F800 Crawler HaulerW/8.3L CTA Cummins

Thanks for the interest guys. The F800 spent most of the summer skidding logs out on my timber farm, bit unwieldy but it got the job done. Still lots of fab work to be done, but it earned it's keep. I'll post a couple pics soon

    F800 Crawler HaulerW/8.3L CTA Cummins

Well...... I work at a propane supply company, so propane is a must. Please explain how propane would damage rods more than low end nitrous? I'd like to stay away from the 444 HP injectors to avoid entirely killing my mileage. Filtered water is cheap and absorbs more BTUs than Methanol so...

    F800 Crawler HaulerW/8.3L CTA Cummins

Questions on the engine are mainly about where to get upgrade parts and how much it can be turned up. I have parts for a two stage propane enrichment system, and plan on at least two stages of water injection soon. I've been looking at the HX50 turbo to replace my stock HX40. The stock 9spd...

    F800 Crawler HaulerW/8.3L CTA Cummins

Lots of fun, assembling the 16R20s on two piece rims. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/members/minimonster-albums-f800-picture65329-20x10-4000-wheels.jpg Mostly finished rear Freightliner air suspension...

    F800 Crawler HaulerW/8.3L CTA Cummins

I'll just cover the basics of the build so far, anything you have questions about just ask. Rear Axletech 4000 shaved and calipers clocked to the front to clear air bags. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/members/minimonster-albums-f800-picture65369-shaved-at4000-ready-go.jpg Start of the...

    F800 Crawler HaulerW/8.3L CTA Cummins

Front U-bolts are 3/4", rear are 7/8". Based on the size of the U-bolt plates on the axle and the stock U-bolts on the F800 3/4" is the stock diameter for both rigs. In the long run the front will get a link suspension and full air ride to match the rear.

    F800 Crawler HaulerW/8.3L CTA Cummins

F800 Crawler Hauler W/8.3L CTA Cummins Hi guys, I know this is a military vehicle forum but I'm not finding much info on my 8.3L CTA Cummins anywhere else. And now that I have Axletech 4000 axles under it and a transfer case from a M939 it's at least part military. Before pic, stock 11R22.5...

    Toy Hauler

1995 F800 Ford crew cab flatbed. I know this isn't a MV, but it has the same 8.3L Cummins as the 5 ton rigs and I'm installing a narrow pair of Axletech 4000 axles under it. 50/50 centered wheels move the 16R20 Michelin XZLs out to clear the frame. 15.5 foot flatbed to haul my toys and farm...

    New from Oregon

Well all of my posts have disappeared, presumably due to pictures. I re-sized them to less than 320-320 but still no go. Maybe this site is not worth the hassle of posting.

Thanks guys. I added several pictures but they must have been too large and were deleted. I'll resize a couple to the magic 320x320 size. The searches I've been doing keep bringing me back here. There is not much online discussion of civi MDTs. Axles I have are the narrow (85" WMS)...

Thanks guys! I didn't want to post too much here and clutter up the new intros. What section should I use for F800 questions?

I registered because you guys have the most tech about MDTs I could find. I recently picked up a 95 Ford F800 with 8.3 Cummins. From what I've found it shares many parts with the Cummins in the 5 tons. Last week a pair of narrow Axletech 4000s followed me home and now I'm gathering parts...
