Large Rust areas, will they ever be water tight?

Well I am about to pull the trigger on an Otter, but there is a huge amount of rust on the vehicle. If I sandblast this it looks like some of it will go straight through. What would be the best way of fixing this stuff? Will I ever have it water tight? I dont plan on spending all of my time in...

Cutting through 13mm Armor...and installing windows.

Yes, permanent is what I'm looking for. I am however trying to find a way to secure or at least partially conceal them so they don't look weird or stand out too much. The top of the truck is totally flat, so perhaps I could build something that I could mount over them to make the vehicle look...

Cutting through 13mm Armor...and installing windows.

Cameras were something I originally intended to use on the vehicle, but the one I found that I like doesn't have a single periscope or viewing glass in the front, sides or rear. (Other than the twin front viewports, of course) I came across some pictures of a BRDM with corner and side windows...

    New guy, Fort Lewis WA.

Haha yeah, people are driving like crazy out here! The hill leading up to my house is deadlocked, 6 cars off the road and four accidents from people sliding backwards. I've been browsing through some of the Commie trucks, and I think what I would eventually like would be to have a Soviet...
