    Just Bought an M35A2

That's interesting, it did have the 4 color Marine camo on it last. I'm not sure at this point about it, seems like none of the markings make sense. I met with the guy that picked it up from auction and he did not paint it with the 4 color and said it was already on, but he did not know much...

    Just Bought an M35A2

While prepping my truck for paint, I noticed a large white star on the roof of the cab, not the top of the hood (where I usually see them). I've never seen one with a star on the roof, does anyone know anything about this?

Who is selling adapter plates now?

My wheels were $125 each, tires were $220 each and I paid $20 for each beadlock ring, Plus shipping. I bought them from https://feltztire.com/ although, I also had to by the wheel adapters and hardware. I'm happy but should have asked the seller if he could install the tire on the wheel. I could...

Who is selling adapter plates now?

I am very happy with the deal, I could have done them cheaper but I could be using my time better on other things, like torquing 240 bolts... :-P Looking back, I should have bought their hardware, I only saved $30 and I would not have had to spend 1hr driving to and dealing with the store.

That's a good idea! Pressure washing seemed like a better way than sanding. I will try the brake fluid route next and see if anything else gets revealed.

Who is selling adapter plates now?

I just bought 6 from Western Canadian Rockwell a couple weeks ago for $687 CAD (about $530) shipped. It was a little pricey but they are really nice, they appear laser or water jet cut and the bolts fit perfectly! Shipping only took a week and I just had them powder coated, I'm am planning on...

    Just Bought an M35A2

I worked down through the layers and took photos at each layer. When sanding some of the visible letters were removed but new letters or edges appeared. I marked the images attached with all the letters, numbers and edges that I could get. Can someone fill in the blanks?

    Just Bought an M35A2

This makes sense, I looked up the MWO tag and it is for the seat belts. I wonder if there is any way to look up the Serial / VIN # to see where / how it was used? I did some research on the contract # and found out it matches the title as a 70 kaiser jeep. I think I have a pretty good...

    Just Bought an M35A2

I've been looking for a long time to buy a Deuce, and one showed up just 10mi away from my house in Oregon, in my price range and not neutered or bubba'd up. I pulled the trigger on the deal and it's now at the family farm. I have been reading on SS all about it for the last month, every chance...
