Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

I haven't painted the bed yet. I use it frequently to haul and thought I should hold off until I finish some projects around the house. I plan to paint on a bedliner, then cover that with Behr. I did that on floors in the cab, and it came out great.

Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

I just used black high temp grill paint. I added the Behr paint to the bottom of stack to test it, and have had not problem with heat effecting it. I might cover the whole stack now with the same paint I used on the truck Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

Sorry RustyEric... been away for a little while. I did axactly what SCSG-G4 stated to do at home Depot. This is the sticker on top of the can with the color code they mixed. I had him print an extra sticker so I can have more paint mixed without bringing in the can.

    M35 Cargo Cover Question

I took a couple old belts (keep your pants up kind) and zipped tied them on posts, covering the bolts. It was a temp fix at the time, but works perfect, so i haven't changed it. Keeps thecover from rubbing on bolts.

    Deuce hood fixing

I'm getting ready to repair my hood. It's not in too bad of shape, just has some warping and dents. Doesn't lay completely even from one side to the other. Looking at the support beams under the hood, it seems like the beams are bent. Like the hood was walked on and bent towards the engine...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

You were right on AjaxMD. Cleaned everything up and took a small trip. Found the hose on the water pump had fluid blowing past the clamps. Repositiioned the hose and tightened it down. Hopefully that will fix it.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

That's an interesting thought Ajax MD. A new radiator, hoses and multiple flushes of system ending with brand new coolant, I would think anything that leaked out would be pretty clean. I'll give the mess a smell test when i get home and see if that's a possibility.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Took the deuce to work today (about a 10 mile drive) and noticed some oil splatter on top front and down passenger side of engine. I cleaned the engine up real good while working on radiator, so I can tell it's a fresh. It's right where the flame heater pump is, but it's dark oil, not diesel...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Got the new radiator installed this weekend. New belts and hoses and some fresh paint on some engine components and front grill. Added a coolant filter to the system too. Glad to have it running again!

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Son of a buck! Taking radiator out of my deuce. One bolt on the bottom stud came off easy, the other one I barely put pressure on to turn the nut and the bolt sheered right off. It was pretty rusty, so I've been shooting it with pb blaster for a couple weeks now. Anyone have this happen to...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Drained the steering box a couple days ago. Had the usual gear oil in it. Today I filled it with JD corn head grease. This weekend I might finally get to removing the radiator so I can completly flush the system. I have new belts and coolant hoses to put on her. Been wanting to do that for...

Thanks for taking the time to show us the steps to mount these tires. It's very informative.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Restored a hard top for my Deuce. It had a lot of holes and warping, but it's all intact, windows too. Patched a ton of holes...maybe a re-skin would have been a better option. I had some Dynomat left over from a street rod project, so I covered the inside skin with that. I did the back and...

    Hard top dents and warping

Souns like I'm not alone then. Small dents have been pretty easy tapping out with a hammer. Using heat is an interesting idea to try. The whole top, between the bracing is pushed in. I'm thinking of trying to tac in addition bracing to see if I can get the shape back.

    Hard top dents and warping

I'm prepping a pretty rough looking hard top to put on my deuce for the winter months. I striped the top and the back sections. I added sound dampener material and used the green sleeping mat on top of that for the back section. Came out pretty nice. I just wire wheeled the top today and...
