cuad4u...let me help you out: "Combat start"...Batt sw -ON, Fuel SW-ON, Key- IN & ON, Throttle-Set for start (just past detent in case you need to abort start), Starter - engage (release at 40% N1), Att. Although I am not a VN Vet, I'm sure that those that lived with them (UH-1's...not Vets) know what I am about to say? I instructed at Ft. Rucker, AL for 6 years and lived under one of the flight corridors the entire time...I became so acclimated to the whop-whop-whop of the huey that it would...- treetopflyer

Guess I'd better start of with hello since this is my first post! Love the fact that you all keep our heritage alive, so with that said, don't fret gentlemen, the legendary UH-1 may have dwindled but it's not dead. Active duty and guard don't have'em, but I do!.
