I have a 2000 HMMWV. It always ran great and started right up. Lately I noticed some of the little braided rubber hoses on the injectors were cracking and leaking. We changed them all and now it won't start. I'm assuming the injection pump has lost its prime. I can take the small hose off...
I recently purchased a low mileage 2000 M1045A2 with the 6.5 and 4L80E. The front of the engine pulleys etc are painted red. Rather sloppily done. Anyone know why this is or if it means anything? I've seen a few others with the red pulleys.
