I have several questions regarding my Humvee. 1- I know this may seem like a dumb question but does it take dot 3 or dot 5 brake fluid. 2- has anybody tried to do a bond on a built Humvee, meaning you buy a frame and a body separate and actually build one. 3- my Humvee has the 4 speed...
When I switched it from 50 hertz to 60 it continued to run but pegged the meter past 62. once I cut the generator off and tried to restart it with the switch set on 60 hertz, the over voltage light came on and the gen set cut off as soon as I let off of the start switch.
So I checked to mke sure the fuel gauge is hooked up right and it is but still didn't help anything. I switched it to 50 hertz and it ran perfect. flipped it back to 60 and it cuts off.
For Gen 1 i honestly think its something i may have hooked up wrong. i.e the fuel gauge. Other than putting batteries in it, the fuel gauge is the only thing ive messed with.
From what ive been told, read and seen you can change it so it will run single phase but will only do 10 kw. And i only paid $2000 for both generators so it was definately worth the risk.
I have not done any trouble shooting yet but the generators wont stay running. as soon as I let off the start switch well after the oil pressure has built up it still cuts off. Im new to generators like this and have no idea where to start.
I have two Mep 804a's. Ill call them Gen 1 and Gen 2. Gen 1 ran perfect, started easily put out the proper power, everything was fine. Gen 2 would not stay running and a low fuel light came on. I noticed the fuel gauge was broken on Gen 2 so i pulled it out of gen 1 and the problem went away but...
I have Two mep 804a's One ran just fine, stared easily, put out the proper power and so on. Generator number two which is newer wouldnt stay running so i pulled the fuel gauge out of the good one and put it in just to try it now generator number 2 says its over voltage. I pulled the fuel gauge...
i have 2 mep 804a's, one works great but the other doesn't stay running unless I hold it to the start position even after oil pressure and hertz is at the proper level. W hen it cuts off the no fuel light comes on. What could be the problem there? And the fuel tank has over half a tank in it...
Just got a goat and of course the brakes dont work. Can anybody tell me where the bleeder is for the wheel cylinder as well as what type of wheel cylinder and brake shoes the goat takes? i have been told the shoes and cylinder are the same as the m715, is that true?
