Adapter for a 4 pin trailer harness?

Can someone possibly find a link or part number to the adapter I need. I looked on eBay for the adapter and I think I found it but the pictures and descriptions aren’t clear. I can’t tell if it’s 12pin to flat 4pin.

Adapter for a 4 pin trailer harness?

Ok, so plug that adapter in and then grab an extra wires and splice it into the truck harness underneath and the other end of that wire splice into the 4 pin connector? Do you know what color wires I splice?

Adapter for a 4 pin trailer harness?

I just installed a class V hitch on my M1028. I'm wondering if there is some kind of adapter out there to stick into the stock plugin that will convert it to 4 pin? I want to haul my trailer without getting pulled over for no lights haha. If there is no such adapter, how do you guys wire up a...

I won’t be hauling a lot and like Recovry4x4 mentioned above my camper and gear may be around 5,000. I’m not looking to tow big gooseneck trailers freighted with equipment or enter into truck pulls. I bought this truck because it’s in great shape, it’s military piece of history, and I love...

Thanks everyone for all your input. The wealth of knowledge on here is incredible. Now that I think about it I do have a k10 with a 700r4 in it. I was going to take out the 350 it has and swap in a built 355. While the motor is out I can take the trans too and put the th400 from the 1028 in...

After looking into all the options, 6.5 turbo, 5.9 cummins, etc. I think I may just try to find a turbo and call it good for now. Although it would be great to have the power of cummins, to do the build correct seems to be around 8 to $10,000. And as far as the 6.5, to gain maybe 35 horse power...

No that I think about it if I do get a transmission with overdrive would it makes sense to get a new 700r4 that’s built seeing as robbing a 4l80e from another truck could potentially be bad depending on miles and how the truck was driven during its life. Same thing with an engine. I can get a...

I was looking around on Craigslist and found a guy parting out some chevys. He has a 96 6.5 turbo diesel and 4l80e auto and a manual shift trans. He also has another 6.5 out of a 1999 Chevy 3500 single axle. If I was to buy from him should I just swap the complete motor and trans at that point...

Well thank you for the good info. I guess I’ll do just the turbo setup because like you I won’t be putting a lot of mileage on the truck. As far as the turbo, banks says on their site that their turbo setup provides more performance then the stock my turbo for the 6.5. Have you had any...
