    Where does the 568 wire run to? I have read is the power that "excites" the field on the alternator - trying to find out where it runs to. I need to probably replace the entire length of the wire. Does that probably mean my alternator is toast? Thanks in advance - we have converted the truck...

    When installing the step down transformer - are you putting a fuse between the 24 volt battery feed and the transformer?
