Sorry to hear you wont be at attending this year :( No Gimpy No Ferro No OilCan No DogHead. I fell like I'm last of the Mohicans.
Hope you get settled in to you new place. Best of Luck.
You think that will handle my phone charger? :)~ LOL
Ill have a deep freezer and fridge running. Thinking ill need to power them mid day and then let them run at night with the ac. I might could use a plug in mid day.
But I will have a 2kw diesel set that I can use. So don't load it up just for me.
Ill have my water heater with me but it still needs some work. So if any one needs or wants warm/hot water we can try to get it working.
Ill also have a heating element in the bottom of the tank so we could heat it all. Just help out with fuel for the genset.
PM s near completion on M813. Working on radio gear.
All PM s need to be done on the M35. I did install LED head lights. :)
S280 Is ready. Top secret mods complete.
Water buffalo still needs PM s and a wheel remounted.
Kubota Rtv just need a Quick going over.
I would say Im 20% ready.
I think it will be easy. But I have never had this heater running so it may not work. I picked up a fuel pump and hose today and Im using a empty MEK can as a fuel tank. Just need to put all the parts tougher. This will be my weekend project if its raining. I still have the 3500 watt element in...
Iv got so much to do I dont know were to start. Im Installing a 2 meter radio in my dads truck and going over it. All new fluids needed check out whats making the noise in the transmission. Ive not even started on my truck. And the water Buffalo is missing a wheel yet. Also Ive not worked on a...
If my plan works Ill finish a few Top secret mods to the S280. And reinstall the wheel on the M149 then start working on the plumbing for hot and cold running water with diesel or electric heat. this should only use 7 ball valves and a mile of pex tubing.
Oh ya will have indoor plumbing out side.
As for the state of Indiana you can not operate a motor vehicle on or off privet property unless you have a drivers licenses. DOT fact.
I have most of my paper work in order with correct documentation so I should be good to go.
I guess Im still a little bent from last year were 2 trucks met up...
Ask one question about safety and every goes nuts with DOT inspection and asking the same question about haspin rules. Come on I just don't want to get ran over.
I was thinking of our newbies that don't know. For example toot the horn before they backup out on the trail. Things like this will help us all be safe and enjoy the the greatest MV truck rally ever. Speed 15 min or so on day one could save hours of despair.
How about we elect some one to over see driver safty and camp safty.
Just thinking so no one gets hurt or a busted up truck.
Their were a few close calls last year.
Spark I may need 220v and Like 30 amps to heat the water. That is if Indy4x4 is still banned and I don't have my diesel fired heater up and running.
So lets plan as if Indy is not going to be their. Do you all want 400 gallons of hot water or 50 gallons at a time? I have a few electric water...
