I want to go to the local junkyard for a few reasons one it would be half the price two I'll have two hub on saterday morning if I order online it will take at least a week and a half and three this place does have a thirty day return policy...just wish me luck that I actually find a set there

one side is prob an 1/8 of an inch other side very minute by eye

just went down and took the axles back out there is no tight spots what so ever here is what I do know the housing/spindle came out of a 3/4 suburban that was in very nice shape the hubs are from a 28000 m1028 that I can almost guarantee was taken off jumps

one is worse than the other but omg this is just ridiculous now I can take the disc of the hub and spin it to see if its the hub but how can I check the spindle, any ideas

UPDATE...not good Brand new wheel bearings just install, this is where im at. even without the axle in the disc and hub still wobble So I think my two choices are a bent hub or a bent spindle

so Im about to order disc brakes along with a hub bearing kit I will give an up in a week once I install

that's kind of my thought, Its just hard for me to believe the axle is bent, have you guys seen that before bent 14b axles... the truck did have broken leaf springs thanks for the help btw

the reason I cant go out and get pictures of my hub today is the same reason you cant get pics of your trucks because its dark outside and my truck doesn't fit in the garage

Im sorry for the confusing there are in fact two bearings in there I just got confused with the two different hub types.. I will try and get pictures up tomorrow, I still cant figure out why the drum is wobbling.. But Ive been wanting to put disks on the rear of the truck for the longest time...

I just put it all back together for now, but I swear there was only one bearing I took the lock ring then the key way out along with the locknut....behind that was a bearing... So I slipped the whole drum off at that point and found nothing else inside....can someone please clarify that there...

I took the drum off for closer inspection and I found the drum/hub assemblie only has one bearing with one race... I find this weird because I went to off road design to order a rebuild kit and that comes with two bearings per side now I'm confused

do you mean take the axles out and spin it by hand?
