    Fuel shotoff According to the TO there should .01 - .02 thousands clearance between the plunger and the IP arm. In the picture below shows the fuel shutoff fully extended yet I had to push the IP arm over to shut off the engine. Is this normal and could have somthing to do with the throttle...

    Update I think my throttle cable maybe bad because the engine would not throttle down. And when I shut it off it would not quit so I think the shutoff may need adjusted (see pic below) I just pushed throttle closed to kill it. Finished the battery hold down and battery layout...

    The selector was set to 240 volts. I had the neg probe on my meter clamped on to LO during start up. After flipping the breaker the meter would show about 50 volts without grounding the pos probe. I think I will be able to figure it out now, just did not get down on my knees to look. Thanks

    I am working on a 701 for a friend. It has not run in several years. I changed all filters but air filter, checked the wiring and all looks good. I primed the unit the best I could with priming lever, pulled and checked glow plug all good. Got the unit running and making power, charging system...
