Do a search about Alfa Heaven. I bought my truck from them and wouldn't do business with them again.
There's also a few posts by people that bought CARC from them. Bad advice, inaccurate advice and knowledge, and bad paint.
Hrmm, that stuff is REALLY new. I thought we were talking about the stuff from the late '90's. I was shown it by my MT and HE mechanic friends when I mentioned how many of the vehicles had bloches on them from previous poorly done paint fixes with the wrong paint.
Guess this stuff replaced...
It isn't actual CARC paint. It's just a touch up paint that doesn't meet the CARC specs. They just wanted it to look the same so the touched up spots wouldn't stick out like sore thumbs.

I was recommended ND 30w by a diesel guy familiar with these things but I figure as long as it isn't a detergent oil (and it's working for you) then you should be set.
When I drove my CUCV home from Wisconsin I made sure the first stop I made was at a parts store.
Picked up some Non-Detergent 30w oil, some diesel additive, and a quart or two of 15w40 diesel rated oil. Paper towels, snack foods, random tools, etc as needed.
