Issue resolved. Thanks for the assistance to everyone that posted.

You can't see it in the pics but there is a lot of damage to the unit. It may be rebuildable since I have the ref to the parts now. I'll take all the info to my mechanic and see if he can do the job. Thanks to those who have rendered assistance.

UPDATE: Called NAPA and gave them the number. No soap. I'll check with my secret source and see what he found out. My buddy has a Volvo that has the 8.3 in it and he says it as the serpentine belt in it also. This is getting stupid.:roll:

Thank you Doghead. I would have thought Fleetpride stocked Horton. He looked at the one I brought in, checked it against all the books he had on the counter and found nothing. I think part of the issue is that the older 8.3's used V-belts and the ones in the A2's use the serpentine belt. I'll...
