    Spring Starter

    Very interesting idea. I think I have seen films of this kind of starter installed on old aircraft. Cold starts might be a problem in some areas, but it don't get all that cold in GA. You could cut out all the 24 VDC stuff, just install a 12VDC alternator and one car sized battery and replace...
