    Oddball deuce or?????

The first 2 M44 series manufacturers were Reo and Studebaker. I am pretty sure it was mid fifties before they changed to another manufacturer. edit-check this: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?23365-1952-Deuce-Manufacturer If it's a 1952 deuce and starts with an "M" it's a Studebaker.
