That fuel pump has a shaft that goes all the way through the IP. Its no fun.
Just attack putting the nut in KNOWING its going to suck and need patience. Plan on spending 2 hrs on it and I bet it goes quicker than you think.
If something needs to come off, it will be the whole IP(sorry man).
Nathan said he had a plug, so I am going to wait for that to show up. I will measure everything and post up what is needed so everyone else can find the plugs too.
Well, I have a military NPT tap kit. I can make any hole accept a pipe plug, but hopefully Jeepsinker won't be a moron for long and give us the info we need!

Yeah, not sure I caught what your trying to say there.
The largest bolt tap I have is 3/4 and it falls in the hole for the nozzle.
I can probably gut the spark plug and weld it shut to plug that(spark plug) hole.
I have been replacing the head gaskets on my truck and have decided that I don't want the intake manifold flame heater anymore. I have searched and searched, but can't find what size plugs I need for the spark plug hole and fuel nozzle hole. Anyone able to help a brother out?
