I replaced all 12 of mine with the rubber ball joints, and WOW what a difference! I've since taken my Deuce off-road on some washed-out, rocky desert trails, and the articulation has to be felt to be believed...not to mention it didn't have near the jolt while rock-crawling like my 4x4 trucks...
Interesting nonetheless...if the price is right, it might be worth jumping on. Plus you could sell the water tank & accessories if you chose, you'd probably cover most of the cost of the overall truck purchase that way, and have some cash to get tires, cargo bed, etc...
Looks like a 5-ton converted to civvy use with the new windshields, fiberglass top & flip hood, etc... I've seen a few around the the southwest like this.
