    It's best to stay with the original NATO cans. As far as the carriers being wider, it is probably just bent outward. Give it a good push and it will straighten out just fine.

    Looks like you bought the Chinese "Repops" fuel cans. They will not fit the military holders. The original NATO cans have a hard time fitting in them. The only carriers that will hold them are the ones you have a picture of and the "Smitty Built" ones. You can get them (Smitty Built) for $39.00...
