My bumper had the little threaded mounts as well but I ground them off and filled the holes. I also filled the round and oval holes on the top.

I used my JD2 bender and fashioned a brush guard out of 1.75 schedule 40 pipe and mounted some KC Daylighters. Since I scored 3 MRAP bumpers today at GL OKC, I will investigate installing on e.
