I totally agree Garrett ! After working on one of the first Hybrid busses in the world (Breda) I can honestly say they can be a bucket of worms ! The electric motors are extremely powerful but prone to a lot of problems. Contacts burning, brushes going out, capacitors, shorting power lines to...

Those are some fascinating brakes ! To bad they never caught on ! I really like the whole idea of fixing brakes without removing the wheel assembly !

My old dozer uses that system for braking, but I never saw this system used on a over the road vehicle.
