What's the purpose of these rubber donuts? Swapping out 1400 to 1600 and these things are difficult. Psi push them against the split rim to make a air gap seal?

looked it over. can't say that it was a whole lot of help honestly.......am i missing something here?????????? should be ready for a road test by weekend. then install the bed and 1600s in the next week or two. hopefully this snow melts soon.

Mistake on my part. I put 1/4" then second guessed myself. My buddy made the bottom plates. They are 1/2" c chanel. The lift blocks are 3x 3/8". Nothing is torqued down quite yet. Well use a 1/2" gun for that. Gotta open up the spring pin holes on the blocks a c hair more first. My buddy...

Trucks mobil under its own power as of yesterday. Lots of air lines to repair and some tweaking of the rear end is needed before the bed goes on.

We had a borrowed mag drill but the bits must have been spanked cuz It didn't do sh1t. Hoping to have the truck mobil by tomorrow afternoon.

Couple issues with progress yesterday. Probably another $150 in drill bits alone. Losing track of costs right now. I'll list as the project finishes
