    thanks for the props, and i used a airosol vinyl dye i got at the local auto parts store. comes in a bunch of colors, I used flat black. I can get the maker when i get home, i think i still have the can.

    your windshield seal could be the cause of the leak, how does the gasket look? as much as a pain it is, you might want to pull the dashpad to check (its not really that bad.)
