    The "Diesel Purge" is a very similar product to the "Cummins" product I've used. We plumbed it straight into the injection pump like they do. Also the "Standadyne" stuff looks good too.

    There was one the Transit Dept used but I cannot remember the name. It came from Cummins. The stuff was "extremely" toxic and you had to take several safety precautions ! Beyond that stuff I don't know of any that really cleans a dirty injector enough to warrant the price.

    I installed that 472 Cadillac engine in my second M1008 CUCV. The neighbor kid drove me crazy trying to buy it so I finally caved. Wished I had just kept it as he raced the poor thing to death ! It was extremely fast with that big Caddy engine !

Are you saying that only the the transfer case (if applicable), driveshafts(s), and rear differential are responsible for the power...

    The transmission doesn't suck power from the engine. In fact the 4L80E is just the TH400 with a overdrive in it. Far superior then the weaker 700R4 or 4L60E as it is called today.
