    Sounds good in theory, but I doubt it would work. If theres no weight on the tire, it would create a vacuum and fuel will not flow. If the tire is on the truck, you'd never get more than half the fuel out - and thats if your lucky. Spending time to inflate the tire so fuel flows would be tricky...

    That is why I asked about distance driving in post #4. If you want extra fuel "just in case" put it in an IBC. When you need it, load it, and put the cargo cover on for stealth. Its my understanding that you are not legally allowed to have more than 50gal of fuel more than what your stock fuel...

    Industrial Bulk Container, They hold 250-330gal. Do you plan on driving great distances a lot(in one shot)?

    I've used an IBC in the past and it worked well.
