    Michelin purchased Uniroyal in 1989-90 & aquired the BFG brand. Michelin spends 5%of its gross revenue on R&D 2x it's closest competitor, Goodyear at 2.3 last time I checked. I have not run any of the BFGs but have run the Goodyears for wheeling. I gave a set of 40% fairly weather checked...
