    M1009 tailgate lock replacement question

    I would remove the crank and take it to a locksmith and have a key made. I don't think the E clip will get the lock cylinder out. You need to get the lock cylinder to turn into the nuetral position and then remove it. The E clip just holds the clutch on as I remember. You need to get to the pawl...
