    There is some kind of smog cert on the valve cover. I guess I will need to pull the air pipes off to fully inspect the top. Is it a printed label or stamped in?

    I lifted my cab with the engine running and then switched it off and lowered the cab. I'll try a full cycle next time. Despite my best efforts I could not locate the engine serial number. If it's under the alternator I think I would need to remove that part to see it.

    ok I'll give that a shot. I just got a pump handle in case the air/hydraulic system does not lift it.

    Sounds like I need to climb into the cab and manually turn off the truck after tilting the cab.
