Looking again at the photos of the carb, it looks like the M125's carb base is 180 degrees different than the 5 ton. The linkage lever is on the right side of the engine on the 602 and the dashpot for the gov is on the inside next to the valve cover. Carb does look the same except for that...

Saturn has the 5 ton carb update kits. Number on our replacement unit is 29D14R List #13926, dated 9-20-82. Just be sure it is the same, as there are hundreds of different setups for these old carbs. Also check Memphis, but hold on to your wallet.

Carb looks like the replacement Zenith we put on the 602 gasser in the M139. Does the governor work right? The oil filters look just like the filters on the 602, which are both by-pass type, this is why the oil pressure comes up so fast. Should take the "major" size element. There should be...
