    M101A2 Trailer Questions

    They were only meant to be hinged/folded for transport on train or aircraft, with the "hinge" bolts loosened enough to accommodate the misalignment of the bolts. If you look closely, the bolts are not on a coincident axis to each other, so if you try to dump it, you will flex the brackets...

    Yep, I could do that. Still have most of the other brackets. There's ever a big plate that I think acted like a shield for the tank that was still on the trailer when I got it. (The tank had already been removed, but the plate remained). Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

    My A1 was a generator trailer with underslung fuel tank, but it does not have those lifting point U-bolts. By the way, the fuel tank is long gone, but I still have the fuel filler neck if some one wants to buy it. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

    Lot's of penetrating oil, and work it back forth a little bit at a time while reapplying oil. I've freed up frozen brake levers that way before. Might work on the landing leg too. You might also try kroil... Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
