    Check valve to prevent oil filter and cooler drainback

    FWIW, I too had problems with lag to build pressure with the spin-ons... Found that a bad oil pressure regulator assembly was allowing pressure spikes that were damaging/blowing out the anti-drainback valves in the filters. Replaced the bad pressure regulator, and now I get consistent cold-start...
