    Amazing guys - much appreciated. I think I found my answer. Page 6, Chart 3b. Ohms from pins A to D = 2.2 (within spec). Follow onto Ohms from pins A to B = OL. Next step is to replace the regulator. Anyone have any weird exceptions or special cases that may apply before I throw another...

    So - Similar issue I'd love some guidance on. My truck has the Niehoff N-1225-1 200A and a N3135 regulator. When I start the truck, charges as normal then creeps to overcharge (mid-red on gauge) then upon blipping throttle, spikes past red limit. 30 seconds of this, battery guage drops...
