    Depends on how you measure VDC. If the red lead of your DMM is on ground and the black is on the terminal, it will read -24VDC.

    No. No fuse. Follow Chainbreaker instructions, but instead of jumping the switch, use a DMM, to check for 24 VDC first. Then, if you have 24 VDC to one side of the switch, and not the other, you know what the problem is.
