My 2002 M1123 has its original data plate and it has a serial number of 201xxx so I have a pretty good idea of what year range should be. it doesn’t really matter because they ask you what year you want it to be and that’s what I did on the one I bought on...
No you do not! Pick any year you want. Mine is a 2002 M1123 and my serial number is 201xxx you are probably closer to 2003/04. I just went thru the same thing with my M1165 and I chose 2002. If I made a error it was going to be older rather than newer. Just my 2cents
