I can confirm that anything that’s Army is much quicker. My generator had its SF97 mailed a day or two after I received the unit. DLA seems to have a much differently refined customer service process compared to the USMC. I’ve called DLA before and they seem to be on top of things in general.
Alrighty here’s the scoop:
I went to the DMV to have the title generated from the SF97. Filled out all the paperwork, had the checks filled out to pay the tax and title fees, and was about to have the submit the forms. The estimated time to receive a title is 4-12 weeks, temporary plates are...
Woot woot, SF97s for 2 trucks came in today with Fedex.
Trucks Purchased: May 25th 2022
Trucks Arrived: June 21st 2022
SF97 Arrival: January 9th 2023
Going to the DMV on Thursday
Now to maybe have my doors come in 🤔
Some updates for everyone:
I won a parts truck on 10/26, got the release form today on 11/8. The EUCs themselves have been clearing pretty quickly
I also procured a MEP-804B Generator recently, no EUC required but I did request the SF97 for it. The SF97 took about 3 weeks after having received...
Just called them for fun, they say that the batch mine is in was due back by the end of last month, so at this point it's officially considered delayed. They supposedly received an update from the Marine Corps saying they'll be sending some back soon, not holding my breath though.
Yea.. is...

yea... they told me the same thing, and I've been waiting for the batch that mine is in to come back since August 31st :(
they're definitely backed up pretty far
Haven't had the pleasure of dealing with Yermo, Albany GA was great though. Trucks were picked up and on the way to me without any interaction from the Govplanet yard there, the shipper/broker I chose apparently hauls 400+ of them out of there every year. Paid a little more than the cheapest...
I've heard somewhere that buying something for the first time takes longer, and subsequent purchases should be quicker since you're already in their database. Don't know how much merit that statement has to it, especially if RWH has been waiting as long as he says a few posts ago. To me it all...
Ah I guess you're in the same boat as me it seems, my section is completely blank however, not even "undefined".
The govplanet employee I spoke to told me that "sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. What I believe the actual case to be is whether or not they feel like updating the status lol
I think you're lucky that it even has a status listed there, mine has been blank the entire time. My only source of updates has been calling govplanet every few weeks to check on it. It says "Sent to DLA" under the "SF97 Status" section though?
As far as I'm aware. TSC handles the EUC forms...
I’m supposedly 14 business days or so into the Marine Corps receiving and processing the forms. Govplanet says it should be another 15 business days. Will see.
