    Thanks for the tip DG. My info says only 500 were made for USA, about 6000 were sent to Russia under lend-lease. I might have a hard time scrounging military parts from Russia at this time.

    Anyone know where I can get parts for a 1940 1 ½ ton LC 4X4 VF405, or get another truck for parts ? I'm in California. Are there WW11 Military truck salvage yards in California? My recently acquire truck isn't as pretty as the picture but is the same model. Might need tranny ,possibly other...
