    Is voltage regulator bad?

    What generator do you have in your truck? If it's the 60 amp, a regulator is under $100. If it's the 200 amp, you can pick up a used regulator in the $300 range usually. If we don't know what generator/regulator we're trying to troubleshoot, then we can't always give accurate information.
