    M998 Squeaky Body Bushings

    A 2" body lift requires body modification where the steering shaft goes through the body, fuel tank spacers and modification of the fuel fill hose. I ended up having to trim the body mount to clear the fill hose. BTW that body mount is 30 years old.

    IIRC there are three different part numbers for the M998, they are not all the same.

    Something is awry here, I do not remember anyone complaining about squeaking rubber bushings before, just about everyone using poly bushings complain about squeaking sooner or later. Are you sure you have the correct bushings with the center piece that limits the compression?
